Dogs are prohibited on Sutherland beaches except designated off-leash areas. Greenhills, north of Wanda, is timed and changes with daylight saving. Horderns Beach at Bundeena is off leash all day from 1 May to 31 August, and on weekdays from 1 September to 30 April it is off leash before 8:30am and after 4:30pm, on a leash from 8:30am to 4:30pm, and closed on weekends and NSW public holidays. Cronulla Beach itself is no dogs.
