Tugun Beach: check with council
Checking the clock…
Get directionsRules can change at short notice. Always check the signs at the beach and the council's page before you go.
The published rule is not complete enough to calculate a live status. Use the council link and the signs on the beach.
Tugun Beach is not named in the register as an off-leash beach or as a beach-wide ban.

The status at the top of the page uses this stretch.

The off-leash brochure names Palm Beach, Tallebudgera Beach, The Spit, Biggera Waters foreshore, Labrador foreshore and Paradise Point foreshore. It does not name Tugun Beach. The register prohibits Tugun Hill Conservation Area and Tugun Quarry Reserve, which are parks, not the ocean beach. Tugun Beach has no calculable boundary. There is no live status.
Unless you are in a designated off leash area, and to maximise public safety, all dogs in a public place must be kept on a leash at all times.
