Altona Dog Beach, next to PA Burns Reserve, allows dogs off leash all year. It is not the Romawi to Mount Street swimming beach.

Council’s visit page says Altona Dog Beach allows dogs to frolic freely throughout the year. It sits north of the Altona Sports Club and south of the Pines Scout Camp, beside PA Burns Reserve. The off-leash locations page lists Burns Reserve as an unrestricted off-leash area. This is not the timed Romawi to Mount Street section of Altona Beach.
