Nutgrove Beach is off lead from 6pm to 10am in daylight saving and from 3pm to 10am otherwise, and on lead in the middle of the day. The stretch from the Lipscombe Avenue entrance to the eastern side of Nutgrove Park is on lead at all times. Short Beach and Errol Flynn Reserve at Sandy Bay is an off-lead area.
