From 1 December to 1 March, dogs are not permitted between 10am and 6pm on the restricted beaches, and may be off lead at other times. Little Howrah Beach, and Bellerive Beach west of the Beach Street access, are prohibited at all times. Seven Mile Beach between day use areas 2 and 3, and Shelly Beach at Opossum Bay, are off lead all year.
