This status is only for Mona Vale Beach (south) trial area. Each stretch below has its own status.
Mona Vale Beach south has an off-leash trial until 13 October 2027. In daylight saving: 5:30am–10am and 5pm–9pm. In standard time: 6am–10am and 4pm–7pm. The rest of Mona Vale Beach is no dogs.

The off-leash trial runs from 14 October 2025 to 13 October 2027. In Australian Eastern Daylight Time, dogs are permitted off leash from 5:30am to 10am and from 5pm to 9pm. In Australian Eastern Standard Time, the hours are 6am to 10am and 4pm to 7pm, every day. At all other times in the trial period, dogs are prohibited in the trial area. After 13 October 2027, Council says dogs will be prohibited there 24 hours a day unless Council resolves otherwise. The two paths from South Mona Vale Headland are on leash.

- 6:00am–10:00am: off leash. 4:00pm–7:00pm: off leash. Outside those times: no dogs.
- After the trial, unless Council resolves otherwise
- All day: no dogs.
5.30am - 10am and 5pm - 9pm, Monday to Sunday (AEDT). 6am - 10am and 4pm - 7pm, Monday to Sunday (AEST). The trial runs from 14 October 2025 to 13 October 2027.
