Dogs are prohibited on Coogee Beach. Randwick’s off-leash areas are parks, not the sand.

The Coogee Beach page lists “Dogs prohibited on beach”. The off-leash page, updated 10 January 2025, says dogs are not permitted on Council’s beaches even on a leash, and that letting a dog onto a beach is illegal. Trenerry Reserve, south of the beach, is an off-leash park, not the sand.
